3D Nobody Yak 54 Shocky2 viewsIt's an Ikarus Yak 54 Shock Flyer. One of my all-time favorite R/C planes. This one is being flown by a friend of mine.

Wico Magneto5 viewsWhen I got it, this mag had no fire. I however had played that game before. The points had been assembled incorrectly (and were not landing right), and they were frosted (causing no continuity and no fire). Both of these issues were quickly resolved, and it had a strong spark. It'll be my hot spare in case I need one.

Tree Bark6 viewsThis is the first Macro HDR image that I have tried. Camera was my Nikon D3000 mounted to a bellows with a Minolta SLR zoom lens set to ~120mm (~180mm on a DX sensor) and the bellows run out to an additional 140mm. I haven't done the math, but the area in the frame in undoubtedly small. I stopped down the aperture to gain some depth of field (honestly I don't remember how far), and the shutter speed was in the 4 to 6 second range for the brackets. HDR merging was done in Photomatix, post processing in Lightroom with final noise reduction in Noiseware. I think I will redo this scene, but in 3d with the same processing, but on two sets of brackets taken on my transit table. I've found a whole new world to explore with these macro setups.Mar 02, 2010
