What a day. I’m not sure I really want to talk about it, so I’ll just babble for a while just to add some filler. Woke up late today, and was very sore from yesterday. God, I’m out of shape. Hauled a bunch of rock down to the pile and had a beer. Work, well, I’m still technically working right now. Doing a long protracted database process from remote, on a cell card. AT&T sucks balls. Enough of that, rule 1.
Found out my rodent control either sucks balls, or is over fed on dry food. They’re now on rations to see which. Found a mouse cowering in my basement, so I took the cats over and plopped them down in front of it. They turned and looked at my like “What?”. I had to put it down myself with a pellet gun. Way to go guys. Let that shit happen again and shit will get real, real quick. Like living indoors? Start doing your damned job.
Then there’s static. Thought I’d cleared it, but no. Just less ambient noise. Not the same.
Think I’ll turn in now. Tired of typing.
Well, introductions have been made. Mom brought Kinsee down this evening and we introduced her and teh kittehs. Kinsee was uber cool about the whole thing, and never growled or barked. Teh kittehs on the other hand were a bit freaked out. Sasha was more mellow about it than Sophia. I think once they get over the whole cat/dog fear thing they’ll be ok. Kinsee was like, whoa, cats, ok whatever. It’s going to be interesting seeing who sleeps in the bed this weekend.
Got me some rodent control tonight. Sophia and Sasha. A special thanks to Melinda and her mom for letting me have these guys. I now have some company in the evenings. Sasha is Sophias mother, so they get along great. Sophie is still a kitten, while Sasha is a bit more mellow. I’m sure Kinsee and teh kittehs will get along great, but I’m not sure about the introductions and the hurt feelings at first.
