Ok, so I went out and got some bling for the 14 today.
It’s coming along, slowly, but progress is being made. Special thanks to Jeff, Steven, Matt and Curt for lending a hand in one form or another. Big thanks to Matt for helping me swap the old fuel lines for the new stainless ones last Sunday.
Hit the jump for more history and the work in progress.
I’m no audiophile, but this is freakin cool. Good job guys!

And it’s gonna stay that way. No more Live Gold account, and no more system updates. Yes, I’m a tad bitter about the whole non-optional system updates that M$ pushes out to the 360’s, cause I had two get bricked from updates. The latest one is slated to get pushed tomorrow, but not to mine. Here’s a taste of arrogance from M$:
| Q | Is the Update optional? Can I keep my old interface if I want to? |
| A | Why would you want to? The New Xbox Experience is the same experience you had before and so much more! As a matter fact, the blades that people have come to know and love are integrated directly in to the guide button so that every aspect of the Xbox experience is always only one button click away. The new Xbox experience is built with community as its foundation and requires everyone to upgrade. |
I love that first sentence. Why would I want to? Uh, cause I don’t trust M$, maybe. Kind of reminds me of a DRE, the doc don’t stop at the first digit. “Here, you thought sliced bread was tha bomb, try this… And yes, I am gonna hold this gun to your head while you do.”
Over at Kotaku, they’re just like little kids over this update. Sukkas.
It’s all about the numbers, and how bat shit crazy the other side is.
Aren’t remote controlled planes fun when you get to blow things up, like say guys planting IED’s?
Where do I sign up?
