Damn, so where’s E been?  Been gettin my shit strait, that’s where.  Also picked up a new hobby or two following the recent death of my Dad.  He was many things, but Renaissance Man  (not the movie) comes to mind when I think of him.  Kind of like Leonardo.   He had so many hobbies and interests, and now they’re mine as well.

I’m going to have to make a flow chart or something to map all this out, but essentially it starts with the broad categories of wood and metal working.  I never got to do much wood working with Dad, other than some carpentry and dock building, but he was also into wood turning as well.  I knew he turned pen kits, bowls and such, but hadn’t gotten the chance to work with him on these projects.  But I have picked up the tools and have started turning pens, and (this is so pimp) transmitter stick knobs.  I’ll have to take some pix, but it looks tight on my Dx6i.

Work, not gonna talk about it…..

I had to consolidate the Darby into a new workshop, which has taken a ton of time to get in order (and getting side tracked with wood turning) and there hasn’t been much work done on it since Dad died.  I’m still going to finish it, but I think I need to take a little break from it right now.  Yes, I find it hard to work on it now.
