   I was being stupid…It was one of John’s control lines and I started it. His glow ign. was bouncing around and I thought it was going to get in the prop so I freaked and went to grab it, reflex you know, and stuck 3 fingers in a wide open .49. Got 1 finger deep enough for stiches and the other 2 fingers got hit 4 xs. Its kinda cool looking. It fucking hurts (probably not as bad as the guy in Indiana Jones) but still sux. I can feel my heartbeat in the tip of my finger.I’ll live. I can tell you I am glad it was a master airscrew cause it cut it deep but clean. I would be really bumming if it was a woody.

   OK, now that I stopped cringing I think I can say “Damn!” Engines are not to be fucked with, no matter how big (or small). Dad got a couple stitches from a Cox .049 a couple years ago. Another friend got his hand seriously fucked up from a .40. That sucks dude. I hope ya heal up quick.

   Oh, and I bet the .49 kept running too.
